He always told me to wash my hair daily, do not put a lot of grease on it and wearing a hat all the time will hasten hair loss. So far he was right. Thinning a little but still there. Never said anything about it turning grey though.

I remember Uncle Tony’s passion for golf, the first time I played golf was with Uncle Tony and my father in Toledo. The best golf instruction I ever received came from Uncle Tony that first day on the first hole. After finally getting to the green he put his arm around me and said; “Mark take my keys and go home”. Love you Uncle Tony, have an Arnold Palmer on me after your first round on God's Course!

I love you Grandpa and I have so many memories of you to treasure. You were a kind and loving soul. Growing up I remember your kidding side, when you would pull the hair on my arms. I will miss your sense of humor and stories of the good old days. Thank you for your service to America during WWII and you will always be my favorite "one-eyed machine gunner". I love you Dad and I will miss you. I will always remember your wise words and good advice throughout the years. You always taught me to treat people the way you wanted to be treated, always do your best, start saving for your retirement in your twenties, don't be a chump for your friends, give, but also receive. And one that used to make me laugh was, let your boyfriend see you without makeup, if he comes back he liked you for who you were, not what you looked like. And many more great words of advice that will stay with me throughout my life. I will always remember the day we put together the fireplace screen with all the screws, nut, bolts and directions on the living room floor. It took us hours, but we got there in the end. The times you would let me steer the car on the back roads driving home when I was a kid. Watching sports like golf, football, baseball and boxing for hours with you while you would explain how each game was played and how to keep score. You never lost your patience if I didn't understand right away. Thank you Dad for all the long talks about life and love, your great guidance and caring. Love you always, Laura
